My room was brand-new and featured marvellous view. The clean bathroom with a shower, hair dryers and bath sheets.

Exceptionally comfortable and pleasant place with very helpful hotel staff. Variety of brilliant options for meal. Particularly good location to centre of city, easy to get anywhere. Also - close enough to public transport and restaurants, Festival Hall and cafes and QVM. Simply no complaints whatsoever, just perfect stay.

I didn't like the fact that when I booked, The photos you showed online were nothing like what I got. I will never stay there again or recommend this to anyone, I will stay at another City Edge Location as I saw their rooms, these were exactly like the rooms displayed online..

Huge & cheap rooms with level 1 near the student lounge as well as clothes washer...

The room was very small and hard for 2 people to move around in. The air conditioner did not work which meant leaving the window open as it was a hot weekend. Being in the city the noise outside kept us awake. Because we had booked on Booking dot com we could not cancel our next booked few days and we could not get a discount. We did manage to change the room on the last night and get a twin bed for the night. This room was better than our double and the air conditioner worked.

Absolutely great hotel in a magnificent position very close to Queen Vic market which is worth a visit. Location just next door to good eating places, a tram stop and close to Victoria markets...

The location here was perfect, just a 20-minute walk to the casino and close to the Queen Victoria Market.

Good location for our needs

Ran out of hot water after 1.5 (not long) showers. A privacy issue as blinds don't cover the windows. No hair dryer Don't recommend the lower ground floor units, upper floor units were better on previous visits

Location, cleanliness and value for money.

Lack of privacy in room - all windows need to have pull down blinds. No hanging space for clothes. Perhaps a freestanding hanger would be helpful.

The location to a museum and a chapel was comfortable for what I needed. There was a wonderful restaurant, shopping malls, and a market next door. - the rooms were great value for money. - the staff were attentive. - I loved the city view and a comfortable bed.

Nice fully furnished room with self. Contained facilities.

Front reception lady not welcoming and overall fairly rude. Front reception tired without permission to debit by account a deposition deposite $150 without contacting me or gaining permission. Further this $150 would take 5-7 working days to clear back into my account
